What we do

One language, all the way through. Script, voice, subtitles and mix are made in Turkish by the same team, so nothing gets lost between vendors.

Source material in English or French. Deliverables in the formats your platform expects: WAV and stems, SRT and VTT, burned-in video, XLIFF and app string files.

How we work

Human first, AI in the loop is the order of work on every project. People decide, write and sign off. AI drafts and double-checks.

The Turkish you receive is never machine translation. AI speeds up transcription and timing, and runs a last automated sweep for the things tired eyes miss.

  1. Human

    01Scope

    A senior linguist reads the source and the brief, then decides what AI may draft and what stays human-only.

  2. AI assist

    02Rough cut

    Transcript and subtitle timing drafted with timecodes. Raw material for the team, never the deliverable.

  3. Human

    03Translate

    A native Turkish translator writes the Turkish from the source, using the draft only as a time map.

  4. Human

    04Review

    A second native linguist checks meaning, terminology and tone, line by line.

  5. Human · AV only

    05Voice & mix

    For voice-over projects: native voice talent or a human-directed AI voice, edited and mixed to picture.

  6. AI assist

    06Final sweep

    Automated checks for numbers, names, term consistency, reading speed and timing overlaps.

  7. Human

    07Sign-off

    Every AI flag is judged by a person. Nothing ships on a machine’s word.

Lingacat started in the dubbing rooms of the 1990s. We wrote our first Turkish dubbing scripts in 1993, transcribing VHS tapes by ear, and never really left the edit room.

Today we work as a small team of native Turkish linguists, editors and voice talent. Translation, casting, recording, mixing and video editing happen under one roof near İzmir, for clients across Europe.

Being Turkish-only is the point. One target language means every decision about tone, terminology and timing is made by someone who hears it as a native.

01
00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:03,400

Every line is written for the ear first.

02
00:00:03,500 --> 00:00:06,200

Then it is timed, voiced
and mixed in Turkish.

Heard,
not read.
